As a proud U.S. Citizen I am glad to have finally had a chance to participate in this election process. I have never understood the purpose of an electoral system that can subject the majority to the rule of a minority but I will leave that for another discussion.

The purpose of this email is to tell you that I have faith in humanity, in the greater good and a brighter future. Regardless of our political beliefs we can all expect a better tomorrow as long as we address the fundamental flaws and inequalities in our society. Today we live in a world where one man can acquire 200 billion dollars in net worth, yet billions of people struggle to earn $2 or less a day. We need to question the systems and the oligarchs in charge that have led to such inequalities.

The second reason that I am contacting you is to inform you of our upcoming event on December 10th for Human Rights Day. This year focused on minorities’ and women’s advancement in the tech community. The event is hosted by Debi Durst and Tara Abrams. In addition to the presenters I am so grateful for the musicians and comedians who will be taking part in this event. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this event. As always, Ethics In Tech is truly grateful for your financial support so we can maintain these events.

We simply couldn’t do it without your help so thank you.

Warm Regards,

Vahid Razavi
